While Automatic Backups will look familiar to the old version, we built this one from the ground up. It's faster, backs up all the available APIs, and it's automatic, so no need to login to the admin to run backups or wait for them to finish.

• White Labeled -- We white labeled our backup product so your clients will experience backups as a seamless part of your platform. We've hidden "BackupBC" and "Business Catalyst" brands with our product so your brand is the champion, not ours. What Gets Backed Up?

What happens to the previous “Backups” app and all the backups it made?

• We’re retiring our original “Backups" app. It will continue working as always for as long as you want but we’ll be discontinuing support on January 17, 2018 to focus on our new service.
• Regardless whether you install the new Automatic Backups app, all your old backups will be safe! Nothing will change with those backups, and they will remain available to you as always.
• Once you’ve installed Automatic Backups, we recommend deleting the previous “Backups” app as it may be confusing for your clients to see a “Backups” app and an “Automatic Backups” app inside the admin console. Deleting the “Backups” app will not delete your old backups! The old backups will be listed in the new app just as they were in the original “Backups” app.

Three Versions

There are three versions of Automatic Backups:

• Lite backs up files only -- a great starter option for small sites!
• Per Site backs up all APIs, per site license -- a good option for smaller partners with less than 10 sites!
• Unlimited backs up all APIs, and you can install it on all your sites for one low monthly fee — a great moneymaker for partners with 10+ sites!
