The Official Adobe Business Catalyst App Store

As of April 17th, 2019 the BC App Store regrets to announce that it will be shutting down the website on August 1st, 2019. This means that on and after August 1st, 2019 customers will no longer be able to download or purchase new apps but all apps currently installed on websites will continue to work.

The team at BC App Store has enjoyed serving the Business Catalyst Community over the years and we thank everyone who made the BC App Store possible.

The decision to shut down the BC App Store is directly related to the Adobe Business Catalys End of Life.

Even through the transaction volume in 2019 has indicated that the App Store is no longer needed at this point, the BC App Store has decided to remain open for another 3+ months to give the community enough time to access necessary apps.

The BC App Store End of Life Timeline

  • April 17th, 2019 - EOL Announcement
  • April 17th, 2019 - New apps can no longer be contributed to the app store
  • June 1st, 2019 - All Recurring App Subscriptions will be transferred to app developers for direct billing
  • June 1st, 2019 - All untransferred recurring app subscriptions will be automatically cancelled and access to the app will be revoked
  • June 1st, 2019 - Updates to existing apps will no longer be accepted
  • June 1st, 2019 - Refunds will no longer be accepted or processed
  • August 1st, 2019 - Website will be taken down
  • August 15th, 2019 - Final developer commissions will be paid

End of Life FAQs

What Will Happen to My Apps That Are Currently Installed?

All existing admin apps will continue to operate as normal after the BC App Store shutdown. We are working with the developers of recurring apps to transfer the billing relationship for the apps directly to the developers prior to the shutdown to ensure that recurring apps will continue working after the BC App Store shutdown.

What If I Still Need an App After the BC App Store Shutdown?

Business Catalyst Apps can continue to be installed after the BC App Store shutdown, however, the BC App Store will no longer be the central marketplace for downloading and installing apps. You can reach out to the app developer directly to faciliate the transaction. The developer can share a zip file with you than can be unpacked and uploaded to the _System/Apps folder. You must be a partner user in order to authenticate the app.
